Southsea Library awarded Respace Acoustics the acoustic solution package in Portsmouth.
Library acoustics are sought to have complete deadened sound. The full library experience consists of the ability to hear your own thoughts, read a book from cover to cover or work, study and research in an environment that has an inbuilt structure of almost silent sound.
This acoustic solution was achieved through the installation of Texaa Stereo suspended acoustic panels. This lowered the reverberation time which lowered the sound echo within the rooms.
Each acoustic panel was covered in varying colours from the Aeria acoustic fabric range. This produced a stunning solution which complemented the existing grey, yellow and beige colours. The integral lighting added a classy and vibrant finished design.
The complete installation was successful. Respace Acoustics created a vibrant, classy look with optimum acoustics for this quiet library environment. The library can now be used by large groups of people with minimal noise.
